Call for MAB Exhibition Materials at Lin'an Ecological Museum

To promote the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme to the public and celebrate the 5^th World Conference on Biosphere Reserves (WCBR) and the 37^th Session of the International Coordinating Council of the Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB-ICC) in Hangzhou. The host city of the conference, Hangzhou, will set up a small-scale permanent exhibition at Lin'an Ecological Museum near the venue of the 37^th ICC session of MAB-ICC. The MAB Exhibition Area will be located in Unit Three: The Path of Coexistence at the museum. For details, please refer to Attachments 1-3.

1. Curved LED Screen

We plan to showcase the images of the MAB biosphere reserves from around the world.

2. Display Cabinets

We aim to collect 1-2 physical items from each of the 759 Biosphere Reserves, such as animal/plant specimens, household utensils, cultural crafts, and artifacts reflecting the coexistence between local communities and nature (e.g., traditional tents, reindeer herding tools, clothing, fishing knives).

Would you be willing to donate the physical items to us? If you do, please submit your request by 30 April 2025 via Exhibition application.

Type: Public Interest Display(Free Admission)

Organizers: Zhejiang Guoxing Investment Group Co., Ltd

Purpose: To enhance public awareness of biodiversity conservation and scientific literacy, creating a first-class ecological museum integrating education, cultural exchange, and recreation.

Audience: Youth, tourists, local residents, government agencies

Duration: Long-term (From September 2025 onward)
