Event ID: 84 Title: Biosphere Solutions in Action: Innovations from a 3-year UNESCO-Aberdeen Partnership
This side event will showcase the innovations and achievements of a 3-year UNESCO–Aberdeen Partnership implemented across 15 UNESCO designated sites, including 9 Biosphere Reserves. It will present community-driven and science-based solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, and sustainable resource management. Through interactive roundtables, participants will exchange good practices, identify opportunities to scale up successful approaches, and strengthen collaboration among Biosphere Reserves. The event underscores the role of Biosphere Reserves as catalysts for sustainable development and key contributors to the SDGs.
