Event ID: 47 Title: Experience sharing to strengthen the MAB Programme and the Biosphere reserves in the Caribbean SIDS
The side event aims to promote the sharing of experiences among Caribbean SIDS within the framework of the MAB Programme and the biosphere reserves. Countries such as Trinidad and Tobago, which has a biosphere reserve, will share their experiences with countries such as Jamaica, which wants to create a biosphere reserve. The side event will also be an opportunity to identify potential partners likely to support the MAB Programme and the creation of new biosphere reserves in the Caribbean. Finally, the side event will serve as a framework for promoting cooperation between Caribbean SIDS and the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
