This side event will highlight the UNESCO x Guerlain Women for Bees project as a key global umbrella initiative to showcase experiences from biosphere reserves, promote knowledge exchange, and discuss how pollinator conservation can support restoration, gender equity, and sustainable development goals. The event will shed light on the leadership role of women in pollinator-related livelihoods, conservation and restoration, and the opportunities for economic and social women empowerment through beekeeping.
